A Night in Nashville: Noelle
Last week we found ourselves in Nashville to attend a super trendy dinner party hosted by Placemat, an in-home farm-to-table dining experience. Since we had not been to The Music City in a while, we turned to Instagram to find the most hip hotel for our stay. Immediately we came across Noelle Nashville, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, a 1930’s building that has been renovated into one of Nashville’s hottest spots. We love unique properties that offer the service, details, and authenticity we strive for at Mariée Ami, and Noelle checked all of those boxes.
Upon arrival we could already tell we were going to love the whole space. Since we are always looking for new venues, we took a tour of the property. There were so many details and each one told a story and made a connection to the original building or the city. The guest rooms have wooden handrails that represent the Cumberland River, and the ceilings are carved into a pattern that is a replica of the city’s railway system in the 30’s. In addition, the rooms are so fresh and spacious.
The amenities of the hotel made our night so enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was the hydration stations on each floor. Each room is given Noelle water bottles to be filled with your choice of still, sparkling, or ambient water.
We are big fans of a hotel that offers a night life coupled with great food. Noelle is known for its amazing roof top bar, so of course we had to check it out! We enjoyed signature cocktails, a quintessential southern snack of pimento cheese, and a charcuterie board, all while enjoying views of the Nissan Stadium. If you visit on a weekend, be sure to visit Nashville’s hottest speakeasy, Hidden Bar. We toured the space and can confirm that it is definitely somewhere you may spot a Nashville star.
On the way out of town, we are usually googling for a decent coffee shop but that is not necessary here. Andy Mumma, Nashville’s coffee genius, opened Drug Store Coffee in the lobby of Noelle. They offer consciously-sourced coffee and pastries in the cutest setting.
When planning your trip to Noelle, be prepared, because you are going to want to shop their boutique, Keep Shop. We could have bought one of everything! This ground level retail space is the definition of unique luxury—it is filled with one-of-a-kind goods from Nashville artists and fashion designers.
As much as we travel, we are thrilled to be able to share all the details from a great new spot. We would strongly suggest you get a group a friends together, or your spouse, and head over to Nashville for a weekend getaway! Be sure to tell the cute bellman the girls from Mariée Ami said “hello!”
