Mariée Ami Weddings: Molly & William
The Silverstein family is so special to us! Planning weddings with them has been so much fun. We have loved getting to know their family over the past few years and share a special bond with every single one of them! A few words from the bride...
Please tell us a little about your story / how you meet? William and I met almost 3 years ago and after our first date I think we both new we had something special. We met for drinks, easiest way to fend off a bad first date, but drinks turned into a late dinner. After talking the night away the rest was history.
What was your vision for your wedding? Favorite detail? William and I wanted to be surrounded by family and friends, dance the night away to an awesome band and create a fun and intimate reception space. Neillie, Louise and Sybil outdid themselves with our ceremony and reception design. A few of my favorite details were the flowers lining the aisle at the church, the laurel wreath ice sculpture surrounded by ferns and the floral hoops that were hung from the ceiling. When William and I saw the reception we were blown away!
What was your favorite part of the planning? My favorite part of the planning process was the meetings my Mom and I got with Neillie and Louise. It was always fun to catch up on life and talk about the details of our special day. They are both so creative and I enjoyed watching all the things we talked about come to life on our wedding day. I also really enjoyed working with Mary to create our save the date, invitations, program and welcome boxes. She absolutely captured the colors and look I was hoping for!
What was your most memorable part of the day? I have so many special memories from our wedding day. Getting ready with my Mom, sisters and bridesmaids, putting on my dress, seeing William for the first time, walking down the aisle with my Dad, and our first dance are just a few of my favorite memories. However, having Otis, our dog, meet us at the church, with his special floral collar, is a highlight I will always treasure.
