What We're Thankful For
We have so much to be thankful for this year! From each of us... FROM NEILLIE... There are so many things I am thankful for, it is hard to put just one thing. However, I think life is what I am most thankful for this holiday season. When I sat down to give this post some thought, I realized that I was diagnosed with cancer 17 years ago next week. Wow! That is a long time ago. There are so many things that have happened since then. What if the out come had been different? There is No sense in living in the “what ifs.” I am a big believer that each and every experience prepares you for the next. Thank you Lord for the gift of life for my family, friends and brides. Each and every one is unique and I am thankful for that!
This year has been a year of traveling. I am so thankful for the Birmingham families who know us and trust us to deliver every detail of their wedding, but I am equally thankful for the families who may or may not know us and have us plan weddings all over the world. Whether it’s a wedding in the field of small town, out west on top of a beautiful mountain, or across a big blue ocean in a country that we have never dreamed of visiting- We are are eager to please and are thankful for the opportunities we are given each day.
FROM MARY... This year I am especially so thankful for my mom - we cheers’d to her 60 years in October - and my sister, who is expecting my niece Mary Haywood in December. I am so thankful to have Neillie, my friend of over 17 years, leading us at Mariee Ami. She makes being a working mom doable and coming into the office fun!
From pledge sisters at Alabama...to comrades on the wedding front….. FROM TARA I'm thankful for fun family trips to the beach with my 3 boys! I'm so thankful to work with Neillie, Louise, Mary and Caroline. They amaze me with their creativity and passion for their jobs. I feel so lucky to also call my co-workers dear friends.
FROM LOUISE I am thankful for close friends and my family that love and support me and are always willing to have fun on the weekdays or on the occasional weekend off. Professionally I am thankful for having fun with the ladies I work with and the brides that become my friends! FROM CAROLINE I am thankful for the travels to new and old places taken with family and friends this year! I am also most thankful for my coworkers (and their kiddos!) who continue to support, inspire and love me, even from 350 miles away! It is more than a “job”…it is truly a family.
