Mariée Ami Weddings: Sarah & William

As the air finally turns crisper we take a look back at one more summer wedding set in the always gorgeous Seaside Florida. A few words from the bride... Please tell us a little about your story / how you meet / etc. After I graduated from Ole Miss in 2012, I moved to Nashville and within the first month, I met William. He attended the University of Tennessee, where many of my friends went and so we were introduced by one of my best friends. After our first date on Election Night 2012 we have spent everyday together!

What was your vision for your wedding? Favorite detail? When designing,  I knew I wanted to stick to a classic look but with touches of modernity. I wanted a more structured look, simple and not overwhelming. I also wanted to add femininity to the design and we accomplished that through the florals. Brian at Myrtie Blue did an amazing job with my specific floral requests. My favorite detail was the arrangement in the large urn in the center of the tent. Since we chose to have such a simple design, the florals really brought the whole look together.

What was your favorite part of the planning? Getting to visit Alys beach so many times!

What was your most memorable part of the day? The most memorable part was walking down the aisle and seeing all of the special people who traveled to be with us and of course seeing my handsome husbands face.
